Our Mission
Gaslight Comedy is on a mission to build community through comedy. By producing stand-up comedy shows that are accessible, welcoming, and fun, we guarantee an audience-focused experience that connects comedy lovers with unbelievable performers!
What We Do
Gaslight Comedy brings internationally touring comedians to Pittsburgh and pairs them with regional features to showcase the best talent the stand-up comedy world has to offer. This combination of world-class skill presented with a local flair ensures that our shows are unique, entertaining, and built for you!
How It Started
Co-founders and comedians, Amir and Eben, grew tired of the lack of creative opportunity in Pittsburgh - not just for comics, but for audiences. Without a single major comedy club within city limits and nearly no recurring stand-up shows, we sought to fill that void.
Since our first open mic started in November 2022, and our first show in September 2023, Gaslight Comedy now runs 3 weekly open mics, 2 monthly shows, offers media services to growing comics and we’re just getting started!
